Course Funding
At Arb Team Training, we’re pleased to offer a range of funding options to help individuals access professional arboriculture training. We work with recognised funding providers to support learners who want to develop their skills and gain industry qualifications.

Whether you’re starting a career in arboriculture or looking to expand your existing skills, funding may be available to help cover the cost of selected courses. This allows more people to train with us and achieve recognised qualifications in areas such as chainsaw use, tree climbing, aerial rescue, and other essential arboricultural skills.

Our Training Approach.
At The Arb Team Training School, our ethos is simple: ‘arborists training arborists’. We are proud to deliver high-quality, industry-led training from instructors who are professional arborists and remain actively involved in the sector. This ensures our teaching is current, relevant, and grounded in real-world experience, with a wide range of expertise brought into every course.

We believe the most effective training combines strong theoretical knowledge with extensive, hands-on practical application. Wherever possible, learning is delivered through real-life scenarios, supported by classroom-based theory and preparation. Our facilities reflect this approach: our classroom and training yard are part of a working site, with a wooded area immediately behind, allowing us to carry out practical training on site.

In addition, we use carefully selected local felling sites, typically within 30 minutes of our base. These sites are chosen to suit varying weather conditions and seasonal demands, while ensuring appropriate tree species, vegetation, and terrain. Tree preservation and the care of our countryside are always at the forefront of our practice.

Throughout our courses, trainees are taught not only the skills required by qualification specifications, but also how those skills are applied in real working environments. By training in realistic and immersive settings, we prepare our learners for the realities of the arboricultural industry and the challenges they may face on site.

Health and safety underpins everything we do. It is embedded into every aspect of our training, ensuring it becomes second nature to our trainees and helping us develop competent, confident, and well-rounded arborists with safety always at the forefront of their work.
