City & Guilds NPTC Level 3 Award in Felling and Processing Trees over 380mm

This qualification will teach you about the directional felling of trees over 380mm using a chainsaw. You will be shown the appropriate felling technique in proportion with the size of the tree, the weight, the condition and the species.
This course covers both coniferous and broadleaved trees, upright trees, and trees that are either weighted towards or against a given felling direction.
