Type of Learner: Individuals who use a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) as part of their role in arboriculture, maintenance or repair work.
Qualification Overview: This qualification covers preparing, operating and transporting a mobile elevated work platform. There are a number of different types of machines (scissor lift, vehicle mounted, trailed, self-propelled, vertical personnel platform). The assessment will be taken on a specified type of machine which will take into account the operational differences relevant to that machine. Please refer to the Qualification Handbook for more detail.
What you need to do: Take a one to one practical assessment with oral questioning by an NPTC City & Guilds approved assessor.
Assessment: 1 day + integrated assessment
