About the training
City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate of Competence in Aerial Tree Rigging 0039-32
This qualification teaches you about the safe removal of a tree’s crown using rigging systems. You will also determine the safest and most efficient access method.
This course also covers the use of rigging for the removal of small tree sections in relation to pruning operations and large dismantles, and is only for arborists with significant experience.
City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Using a Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness 0039-23
This course is designed for individuals who use chainsaws within trees. You will be equipped with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to operate chainsaws from a rope and harness safely, in line with industry standards and current legislation.
This qualification includes risk assessments, emergency planning, legislation, industry best practice, environmental considerations, tree condition, tools & equipment, safe cutting techniques, and positioning.
