The Chainsaw Maintenance & Crosscutting qualification will teach you everything you need to know about how to maintain your chainsaw, and how to cross-cut trees at ground level.
The Felling qualification will teach you how to directionally fell trees up to 380mm using a chainsaw. It covers both coniferous and broadleaved trees, upright trees, and trees that are weighted towards or against a given felling direction. You will be taught felling techniques which take into account the tree size, weight, condition and species, as well as guide bar size and weather conditions.
